Returns & Exchanges
At Afroessential, we want you to be happy with your purchase. If you are not satisfied with your purchase in any way, you may return or exchange the items hassle-free by following the return policy guidelines below.
Kindly contact us via email within 14 days of receiving your order for an exchange or full refund of the item. Please note all shipping charges are non-refundable.
Returns Policy
Returns outside the 14 days of receipt time frame may not be accepted.
All returns should be sent back to us in the original packaging provided. The item(s) should be returned unworn, unused and in the original and perfect condition, it was received. Any returns that are damaged, soiled, or returned without their original labels, tags, packaging may not be accepted and may be sent back to the customer.
Where provided, any designer packaging such as dust bags and leather tags, authenticity certificates, cards, cleaning cloth should be included in your return.
Footwear should be returned unmarked and in the original and undamaged packaging.
Returns will be credited to the original payment method.
Returned items will be refunded excluding the original cost of shipping when using our free collections service.
Once your package reaches the warehouse, please allow 3 to 7 business days (depending on peak times) for your return to be processed. If your return does not meet the conditions listed, the package will be sent back to you. When your return has been accepted, your refund will be issued and you will receive a confirmation e-mail.
Items such as Final Sale and Clearance items, Underwear, Swimwear, health, and personal care items cannot be returned.
All return conditions apply to exchanges as well.
Returns:
You can initiate your return in just a few simple steps:
Visit our Online Returns Center and complete the return mailing form.
Pack the items and return mailing form securely in a box or the package used to deliver the item.
Drop the package off at our pick up station. You may also schedule a pick- up by contacting us ( we can pick up from you)
In order to ensure that you receive the correct refund, please do not include items from other orders or other shipments in the same box. Every shipment must be returned using a separate box.
The customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
Replacements:
If you received a defective item and need to replace it with the same item, visit our Online Returns Center to request a replacement.
Exchanges:
If you would like to exchange an item for a different variation–e.g., size, color–visit our Online Returns Center and select the “Exchange” option.
When making an exchange, your return refund will automatically be calculated and applied to your exchange order. You just need to send your original item back within 14 days.
We currently only offer exchanges for items of the same price. If the item you wish to return doesn’t have an exchange return option, you will need to return the original item and place a new order.
